Bio for Cherie Davis

Cherie Davis is general manager of the Miyako Hybrid Hotel in Torrance, California. Her 30 years of experience includes managing a variety of properties, from internationally known branded hotels to medium-sized boutique properties. Davis has participated in opening, rebranding and renovating seven properties in the United States. She has also consulted on international new-builds as well as U.S. hotel projects. A published author, she is recognized as a motivational and inspirational speaker regarding leadership, hotel management, sales training, social responsibility and green business practices. Davis also is a 19-year veteran of the United States Army, and serves on numerous boards including those of local travel and tourism organizations as well as several non-profits.
