Bio for Luciano Mazza

Luciano Mazza is director of hospitality, architecture, based in the London office of global design leader HKS. One of the most respected hotel and resorts architects working in the international luxury arena, he joined HKS in 2006 and has led the design process for many of the team’s projects. Luciano began his architecture career working on the new, seminal headquarters and factory of renowned sports car manufacturer Bugatti near Modena. After establishing his own practice in Sri Lanka, he was appointed architect for both the Italian and Vatican embassies and was commissioned by several regional hospitality developers. He holds a degree in architecture from the Venice Institute of Architecture and is a member of the Italian Register of Architects, Planners, Landscape Architects and Conservation Architects. Luciano has a string of unique and exclusive projects to his name including h.Club LA, the first international extension of London’s Hospital Club; Ananda in the Sahyadris, a wellness and spa resort in the forest of Maharashtra, India; Fairmont Taghazout Bay, Morocco; Four Seasons Plavi Horizonti, Montenegro; and in London, the South Kensington Club.
