Louvre steps up Eastern European development

As Louvre Hotels Group prepares to open its new hotel complex in Wroclaw, Poland, with a 152-room Campanile and 136-room Premiere Classe, it is also ramping up further development of its budget brands across the country and further into Eastern Europe.

“Louvre Hotels Group is determined to pursue its expansion in the Eastern European market, where we plan to have a portfolio of 40 hotels in 2015,” said Matthieu Evrard, chief development officer for Louvre Hotels Group.

Campanile Wroclaw Centrum is the ninth Campanile in Poland and construction will begin shortly for the 117-room Campanile Bydgoszcz. Louvre is also developing the brand in Ukraine where the construction of Campanile Donetsk has already started in the city center. In Lithuania, the construction of Campanile Vilnius will start in Q3 2012.

Louvre also aims to accelerate the development of the Golden Tulip brands in Poland. In July, the Golden Tulip Miedzyzdroje Residence, developed by the group’s strategic partner Qualia Development, will welcome its first guests. In Southern Poland, Louvre has also started with a local investor the development of the Tulip Inn Krakow Center.
