Radisson Blu Liuzhou Hotel in China has debuted the Scoozi Italian Restaurant and Twenty-Six Bar Lounge.
Carlson Rezidor brought Aedas Interiors aboard to design the 9,000 sq ft (835 sq m) space with a look and feel that distinguish it from the rest of the property.
Guests enter through a dimmed elevator lobby with backlit panels inspired by the abacus. Velvet curtains lead to the sky-lit atrium waiting area, which has full-length wine displays on both sides and a four-poster day bed. A beaded tent hangs from the ceiling, anchored by chandeliers.
Scoozi Restaurant features lots of natural light during the day; at night, the space has a more intimate feel. The restaurant has light Staturio stone floors with contrasting dark wood planks, and the décor includes gold-leaf “picture-less” frames and velvet curtains as wall coverings.
The design of Twenty-Six includes dark timber, backlit gold-leaf art frames, velvet curtains (similar to those in Scoozi) and blue accents. The space also has a backlit onyx bar and a plush seating.
