Restaurant Michael Schwartz is scheduled to open April 22 at The Raleigh in Miami, sbe Restaurant Group and The Genuine Hospitality Group announced. The new dining outlet is part of the extensive revitalization plan for the property since it was acquired last December by David Edelstein and Sam Nazarian.
Assuming the former location of The Royal, the restaurant will serve lunch, which will feature a market fresh raw bar, and dinner daily while also providing poolside and bar service, boxed beach lunches and a selection of items for in-room dining. Menu items will include some of Schwartz’s signature dishes such as crispy hominy with chili and lime as well as new offerings such as grilled octopus with crushed hazelnuts, green olives, kumquat, preserved lemon and parsley.
