Luxury Collection offers curated culture

The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts, part of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, on Tuesday announced a partnership with One Kings Lane, an online destination for the home, that will include limited-time online sales, exclusive preview dinners and a road trip hotel package “celebrating the hidden treasures of America’s favorite destinations.”

“One Kings Lane customers, much like our guests, have an insatiable appetite to travel, explore and discover,” said Paul James, global brand leader, The Luxury Collection, St. Regis Hotels & Resorts and W Hotels Worldwide. “This partnership strikes the perfect balance between our position as the destination authority and The Luxury Collection’s role in enabling travelers to express themselves through the things they find most interesting: art, design and home décor.”

All-American road trip package

The Luxury Collection and One Kings Lane have created a limited-edition package, offering guests the opportunity to experience a curated journey based on their passions: food & wine, speed & sport or art & design.

Book a minimum of two nights at any of 12 The Luxury Collection Hotels & Resorts in North America, and the brand’s s concierge service as well as One Kings Lane local experts will customize your road trip. The concierge will also assist in booking the perfect rental car, as well as track down maps, and program GPS and mapping for picturesque stops.

Guests booking the package will also receive a US$200 gift card to use with One Kings Lane, whose curated online sales feature local vintage haunts and undiscovered market gems.

Limited-edition curated sales

One Kings Lane will host two limited-time sales inspired by their designers’ road trip along the west coast with The Luxury Collection brand. The sales will give special access to handpicked and one-of-a-kind furniture, textiles and design accents from San Diego to Los Angeles and from San Francisco to Portland.

The first sale will launch July 2. The second sale will launch July 9. Both sales will start at 11am EST at www.onekingslane.com and last 72 hours.

Preview supper series

In conjunction with the curated sales, The Luxury Collection with One Kings Lane will host a series of dinners where, for the first time, guests will have access to preview and shop items from the road trip inspired sales, which will officially debut on One Kings Lane on July 2 and July 9.

Styled by One Kings Lane design visionaries, the supper series will take place the week of June 24 at the US Grant in San Diego, The Palace Hotel in San Francisco and The Nines in Portland. The public is encouraged to ‘like’ The Luxury Collection and One Kings Lane on Facebook for a chance to win a seat at the exclusive dinners.
