Loews launches ad campaign in US

Loews Hotels & Resorts is launching “The Room You Need,” a new marketing campaign in the U.S. via print, online and social media targeting travelers aged 35 and up.

Loews Hotels & Resorts, New York City, said the new campaign is designed to reflect the lifestyle and individual personalities of its 19-hotel portfolio, located in the U.S. and Canada. The campaign will be launched nationwide and then customized on a local and regional level with digital sites. Loews is investing an estimated US$4 million in the campaign.

“We feel that ‘The Room You Need’ really taps into how people want to feel when they are away, no matter why they are traveling. The campaign will begin with six different scenarios, all shot at our locations illustrating the various different ways in which travelers can experience our properties. We saw a real opportunity as an independent chain to express ourselves, without being aggressive and exclusive. This is an opportunity to share our story and our personality,” said Bruce Himelstein, Loews Hotels & Resorts’ chief marketing officer.

Loews worked with marketing agency Catch New York, New York City, on the campaign. “The Room You Need” advertisements will be featured in magazines Travel + Leisure, Conde Nast Traveler, Departures, Wired and Bloomberg Pursuits.
