SLS partners to enter China with 4 hotels

sbe announced on Wednesday a licensing deal with developer Palace Hospitality to debut its SLS Hotels brand in China at four hotels set to open by 2015.

The hotels will be located Shanghai, Beijing, Wuxi, and Kunming and will total approximately 2,000 guestrooms. sbe told HOTELS that it is playing a key role in the development, operations on marketing of each property and that the managing company for the properties has yet to be determined.

The Shanghai hotel will be the first of the four new-builds to be completed. sbe said that the hotels will feature a design aesthetic tailored for the Chinese market.
