Hard Rock International has announced it will open Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, the first Hard Rock Hotel to open in Europe, in May 2014.
Palladium Hotel Group, pursuant to a license agreement from Hard Rock, will transform two former Fiesta Hotels — Club Don Toni and Hotel Don Toni — into the Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza, which will offer more than 480 rooms. The two buildings will be united by a remodeled lobby and multi-purpose space, which will include various dining, shopping and entertainment outlets. Hard Rock Hotel Ibiza will also offer live music and DJ performances for guests.
“With our existing European presence of more than 40 years and 32 Hard Rock Cafes, we look forward to establishing our first Hard Rock Hotel in the region,” said Josh Littman, director of development – EMEA, Hard Rock International. “This project is a natural alignment of interests for Hard Rock, as Palladium recently opened the Hard Rock Cafe in Ibiza. As we enter Europe and make strides toward additional hotel development goals within the continent, we will seek relationships with quality developers like Palladium, while we remain dedicated to introducing our brand to new guests and existing Hard Rock fans.”
