Loews launches flavor-focused kids menu

Loews Hotels & Resorts is targeting adventurous young foodies with its new Precocious Plates menu.

The new program at Maritana Grille (Loews Don CeSar), Café Adelaide (Loews New Orleans) and Ocean & Vine (Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel) is geared toward culinarians ages 12 and under who want to experience new dishes in a kid-friendly portion. The Precocious Plates menus offer half portions of participating restaurants’ most popular dishes, including Kobe Short Rib at Maritana Grille, Shrimp and Grits at Café Adelaide and the Tarragon Tiger Shrimp with Lobster Risotto at Ocean & Vine.

“Typically kids’ menus cater to picky eaters and cover basics like chicken fingers and hamburgers, but kids with a healthy appetite and an adventurous palate shouldn’t have to feel left out,” said Keith Roberts, executive chef at Ocean & Vine. “This is our solution.”
