Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts opened Mövenpick Hotel Enshi last month in China’s Hubei province. The company says the property is the first five-star hotel in the city.
The 240-key property includes 27 suites and one presidential suite. The contemporary interiors feature local Tujia and Miao ethnic art.
The hotel also offers three dining venues: Lotus Garden Chinese Restaurant with authentic local and Cantonese dishes; The Chef Theatre, an all-day dining venue with steaks and European fare; and Dessert House, which offers ice cream and home-made chocolates.
Other amenities include an outdoor swimming pool, fitness center, spa with couple’s rooms and a relaxation area, and beauty salon. The property also features special facilities for business travelers, such as a 5,543-sq-ft (515-sq-m) grand ballroom, a banquet hall that seats up to 250 diners, eight meeting rooms, and a private club lounge.
