Asia Pacific is world’s largest tourism market: According to a new report from PhoCusWright, Asia Pacific surpassed Europe as the world’s largest regional travel market in 2012, with US$326 billion gross travel bookings. PhoCusWright projects an 8% growth for the total Asia Pacific travel market through 2015.
Anantara to expand in Thailand: Minor Hotel Group will open the 77-room Anantara Phuket Layan Resort & Spa in January 2014.
