Karisma launches new lifestyle brand Allure

Karisma Hotels & Resorts announced on Wednesday the launch of Allure Hotels, a lifestyle hotel brand with the rebranding of two hotels in Cartagena, Colombia.

Allure Bonbon (formerly Arsenal Hotel) and Allure Chocolat (formerly Arsenal Hotel Boutique) are properties owned by the Char Muvdi family. The 14-room Allure Bonbon will have rates starting at US$139, while the 34-room Allure Chocolat’s rates will start at US$175.

Karisma Hotels & Resorts, Coral Gables, Florida, said it will open some five Allure Hotels in Latin America over the next five years.

“We are eager to embark on this new venture,” said Ruben Becerra, vice president of corporate affairs and business development for Karisma. “We see great potential in developing a new line of boutique hotels in Latin America, and we couldn’t think of better a way to launch this brand than with the sophisticated and successful Arsenal de Cartagena properties.”

Allure Hotels will feature personalized touches including aromatherapy and pillow menus and complimentary Wi-Fi and iPod docking stations in-room.
