What’s Hot: Preview two Solís hotels coming to Sochi

Just in time for the February kickoff of the Winter Olympics, Solís Hotels & Resorts plans to open Solís Sochi Hotel and Solís Sochi Suites in the Russian resort of Krasnaya Polyana early next year.

The hotels are surrounded by the Caucasus Mountains, at about 3,000 ft (960 m) above sea level.

Solís Sochi Hotel, billed as the only property in the resort to have ski-in, ski-out access, will have 120 guestrooms including 13 suites. The largest will be the duplex Presidential Suite, at some 5,240 sq ft (487 sq m), with three bedrooms, private elevator access, a butler’s pantry, a large terrace and private access to the ski slopes.

The hotel will also have a spa, function space, and three food and beverage outlets, including the Echo Ski Cafe, located next to the ski locker room and ski concierge service so guests can ski in, keep their boots on for lunch, and ski back out. The Grill will offers steaks and European fare with a panoramic terrace, plus a private dining room that has its own wine room. The Lobby Lounge will serve beverages.

Solís Sochi Suites has 52 rooms with bedside touch-screen panels that control the lighting and climate control. The 6,275-sq-ft (583-sq-m) Krasnaya Polyana Suite is also a duplex, with three bedrooms overlooking the mountains, private elevator access, two private terraces with sun beds and a pool, a living room with a fireplace, and a spa area that includes a sauna, a whirlpool, and a gym.

This property also includes the Bijou spa, a Lobby Lounge, four boardrooms, and Le Chalet, which serves dishes like cheese fondue in a space with an Alpine-inspired design.
