Boutique luxury hotel company Auberge Resorts has named Craig Reid as its new president and CEO, reporting to current CEO and Founder Mark Harmon, who will assume the role of managing partner. Since 2011, Reid was president of hotel operations, Americas, at Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts.

This news comes just a week after Auberge secured a strategic investment from Friedkin Capital Partners to expand its presence internationally.

Reid, who is leaving Four Season after more than three decades of service, is being charged with leading Auberge Resorts as it expands internationally through new projects in the United States, the Caribbean, Latin America, Europe and Africa.

“Craig Reid’s experience, knowledge and relationships will be a game-changer for us,” Harmon said. “His impressive career spanning all aspects of hotel development and management makes him exceptionally suited for this role.”

Auberge Chairman Dan Friedkin added, “Attracting Craig to Auberge Resorts was a top priority for us. His proven leadership skills and character position us to execute our strategic plan for accelerated global growth.”

Founded in 1998 by the Harmon family, following the 1985 launch of its Napa Valley flagship resort, Auberge du Soleil, Auberge Resorts owns and operates nine hotels.
