What’s Hot: The Saint debuts new suites

The Saint Hotel in New Orleans’ French Quarter has completed five luxury suites that occupy the entire second floor of the hotel.

The property’s owner, Mark Wyant, and his wife, Lorenda Wyant, designed the new suites. Each suite has at least two televisions; several also have hidden televisions that rise out of furniture for comfortable TV watching from bed.

Two of the suites, named after the archangels Michael and Lucifer, are 1,800-sq-ft (167-sq-m) “master suites,” with entertaining amenities that include a bar and an in-room ice maker. The bathrooms, enclosed in thick plate glass, are decorated with Carrera marble. A sheer curtain is provided for privacy.

The Archangel Michael Suite features cobalt blue floors and a sky blue ceiling framed with blue LED lighting. The two-bedroom, two-bathroom suite has white and silver mirrored furniture including tufted white leather couches. Floor-to-ceiling windows are surrounded by white velvet, with custom window shades depicting saints. The kitchen includes a microwave and a full-sized refrigerator, with a glass dining table for four under a blue Murano glass chandelier.

The bathrooms in this suite feature black Carrera marble, a dramatic black Murano glass chandelier, a black clawfoot tub with gold legs, and deep red sinks set in black granite countertops.
