St. James’s buys 14 UK hotels out of administration

The 14-hotel portfolio of Forestdale Hotels, a subsidiary of Akkeron Hotels Group, Surrey, England, has been bought out of administration for an undisclosed sum by St. James’s Hotel Group, London.

St. James’s did not disclose whether it plans to rebrand the currently unbranded properties, nor whether it has any renovation plans for the hotels. St. James’s is an affiliate of Somerston Group, London

The properties are located throughout England and include:

  • The 73-room Arno’s Manor Hotel, located in Bristol
  • The 38-room Burley Manor Hotel, located in Ringwood
  • The 59-room Lyndhurst Park Hotel, located in Lyndhurst
  • The 33-room Norfolk Arms Hotel, located in Arundel
  • The 46-room Pratts Hotel, located in Bath
  • The 72-room Southampton Park Hotel, located in Southampton
  • The 109-room Wessex Hotel, located in Bournemouth
  • The 39-room Stratton House Hotel, located in Cirencester
  • The 49-room The Roebuck Hotel, located in Ware
  • The 30-room The Royal Cambridge Hotel, located in Cambridge
  • The 40-room Shillingford Bridge Hotel, located in Wallingford
  • The 75-room Ardsley House Hotel, located in Barnsley
  • The 110-room Blackwell Grange Hotel, located Darlington
  • The 81-room Winchester Royal Hotel, located in Winchester
