The Irish Times reported that John Malone, billionaire chairman of Liberty Global, has partnered with Lalco Hotel Group to purchase the 193-room Hilton Dublin for approximately €30 million (US$41.5 million).
The move comes a year and a half after Malone’s purchase of the 195-room Trinity Capital Hotel, also located in Dublin.
The Hilton Dublin reportedly made a profit of €2 million (US$2.7 million) in 2012.
