With art serving as a more prominent design staple in all hotels, one London hotel is following the trend by launching a series of rooms — dubbed “Room With A View” — inspired by East London street art.
Starting July 7, Andaz Liverpool Street will unveil a guestroom by Chris Price and his wife and collaborator Delisia Howard.
The room will be open to guests through July 2015.
Additional rooms will debut in October 2014, January 2015 and April 2015 and will showcase work by artists Patrick Vale, ILoveDust and Patrick Morgan, respectively.
“Inspirational art is an integral part of Andaz Liverpool Street, and we strive to find new ways to support and celebrate local art, design and British artists,” said General Manager Tim Flodin. “We are incredibly excited to be launching Room With A View with such a diverse group of talented artists for our guests and Londoners alike to experience a view of East London culture at its best.”
