Brand blogs expand as content marketing strategy

After developing a new content marketing concept for the past year, Benchmark Hospitality International’s Personal Luxury Resorts & Hotels and Benchmark Resorts & Hotels brands have announced the launch of a new consumer travel blog for luxury travelers: Mosaic Traveler.

Journalist Greg Oates has been hired to implement the blog and has divided it into the broad categories of Lifestyle & Culture, Food & Drink, Active & Adventure, Hotel Stories and Special Events, using each as a platform for storytelling and showcasing authentic guest experiences. It highlights guests’ travel stories, hotel staff recommendations, new travel developments in each destination and interviews with industry insiders.

The blog is updated two to three times per week, and readers can opt in for email or social media prompts with every update.

“There is such an incredible interest these days in local, authentic travel experiences that are unique to their specific destination,” Oates said. “The new blog was designed to spark ideas about enriching, immersive travel opportunities available to discerning travelers and guests of both exciting new consumer brands from Benchmark Hospitality.”

Mosaic Traveler also features a dedicated section highlighting trends in the meetings and events industry, a segment in which Benchmark Conference Centers have traditionally been very active.
