Rosewood debuts new culinary program

Rosewood Hotels & Resorts has debuted a new culinary program, A Sense of Taste, which aims to offer unique culinary experiences tailored to each property.

The program encompasses Epicurean Encounters — private, guided tours to exclusive locations in each Rosewood destination offering rare access to local culinary experiences. Specific examples include diving for lobsters at Rosewood Little Dix Bay to deep-sea fishing in the Red Sea with the catch prepared by chefs at Rosewood Corniche.

Through Partners in Provenance, a defined radius is established based on each hotel’s unique location within which chefs source artisanal ingredients to feature on menus. The concept emphasizes maintaining a seasonal and diverse menu featuring local fare.

A Sense of Taste also offers Bespoke Dining journeys — private dining experiences arranged at unique and exclusive locations both on and off property, such as gourmet picnics in Vancouver’s Stanley Park created by the chefs at Rosewood Hotel Georgia.

A Sense of Place includes offerings such as desert dining arranged by Rosewood Abu Dhabi.

“Rosewood has always strived to offer guests authentic local experiences and fully immerse them in the community,” said Radha Arora, president of Rosewood Hotels & Resorts. “It is our belief that one of the best and most satisfying ways to gain knowledge of a culture is to experience its cuisine.”
