Holiday Inn to expand in UK: IHG signed a franchise agreement with Kew Green Hotels to open in a few weeks the 95-room Holiday Inn Cardiff – North M4 Jct.32, a franchise agreement with Mango Hotels to open in August the 225-room Holiday Inn London – West, a franchise agreement with Arora Hotels to open later this summer the 119-room Holiday Inn London – Heathrow T5 and a franchise agreement with Nine Hospitality to open in early 2015 the 95-room Holiday Inn Birmingham North – Cannock.
RLJ buys Atlanta hotel: RLJ Lodging Trust bought the 194-room Hyatt Atlanta Midtown for US$49.5 million from Noble Investment Group.
Ashford buys California hotel: Ashford Hospitality Trust bought the 357-room Fremont Marriott Silicon Valley for an undisclosed sum from an undisclosed buyer. Upon closing the purchase, Remington Lodging will manage the property.
Four Seasons may expand in Hawaii: Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts may be expanding to manage the Ko Olina Resort, which has three hotel and time-share resorts, located in Kapolei.
