Staffer scales new heights for cancer research

Ferda Durak, director of Six Sigma at Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, made more than 200 parachute jumps during his time in the Turkish military, but recently Durak scaled a new height for a good cause.

Durak was one of more than 100 participants who rappelled down World Trade Center Denver in support of Cancer League of Colorado’s annual Over the Edge event. Each participant pledged at least US$1,000 to scale down the building, which stands more than 30 stories tall.
