What’s Hot: Moscow property opens new suite

The Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy has unveiled its largest suite.

The Penthouse suite, designed by Studioaria, is located on the 19th floor of the 234-key hotel. The 2,927-sq-ft (272-sq-m) suite consists of an entry hall, a living room, a bedroom, a bathroom with a separate shower and sauna and a private outdoor terrace, as well as a guest powder room.

The silvery palette gives the room a modern, urban feel. Pops of bright orange add zest and dimension. To keep the streamlined, contemporary feel, the designers opted for streamlined shape and minimal adornment. However, to keep the rooms from looking too bare, the team chose fewer accent pieces, but those that pack a heavy visual punch. Glittering silver lights in the dining area look like something from an enchanted forest. Curvy vases on the table add a sinuous twist.

For the bathroom, the same approach was carried through. The egg-shaped tub is set against a cool, pale room. For the shower, marbleized walls add glamour. The sauna is tucked behind a gold-trimmed door.
