As part of its multimillion-dollar refresh, the Hilton Nashville Downtown in Nashville, Tennessee, has completed the first phase of its renovation. The $28 million redux of the 330-suite hotel features a facelift for all the suites, the meeting spaces and the fitness center. A new executive lounge was also part of the project.
The design team wanted to create a modern take on the Music City look. Eschewing the conventional country-music stereotypes, they chose a rich palette with metal tones that echo the colors of a guitar. Exotic woods keep the theme from feeling overpowering. Coral accents add pop. Marble and granite accents take the luxe factor up a notch.
The second phase of the hotel’s renovation is due for completion early in the fall. It will showcase a renovated atrium lobby and lounge, a Trattoria Il Mulino restaurant and a redesigned MarketStreet eatery. There will also be an open-plan business area in the lobby.
