Starwood Capital bought the 199-room Crowne Plaza Edinburgh – The Roxburghe, located in Edinburgh, Scotland, for an undisclosed sum.
The property had been operated by its owner under a franchise from IHG, Denham, England. The Scottish press reported that the estimated multi-million pound purchase is the largest hotel transaction in Edinburgh since 2007.
