Ritz-Carlton to expand in China:  The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. signed a management agreement with Mission Hills Golf Club to open the 201-room The Ritz-Carlton, Mission Hills, Ritz-Carlton’s first golf resort in China to be located in Haikou.

Subrata Roy asks for more time to sell Grosvenor, Plaza:  After initially being given 10 days to sell London’s 494-room Grosvenor Hotel, A JW Marriott Hotel and New York City’s 282-room, 152-unit The Plaza from a makeshift jailhouse office, Sahara India Pariwar chairman Subrata Roy has asked for more time to complete the sales.

Hilton Frankfurt City Centre sold:  CBRE Hotels advised on the sale of the 342-room Hilton Frankfurt City Centre from an undisclosed seller to an undisclosed buyer. Debt financing for the acquisition was provided by HSH Nordbank in excess of €50 million (US$66 million).

 


Concord developing Hyatt in New Jersey:  Concord Hospitality Enterprises is developing a 258-room, Hyatt House-branded hotel in Jersey City for US$90 million.

Washington casino to add hotel:  Yakama Legends Casino, located in Toppenish, is investing US$90 million to add a 200-room hotel as well as a spa and F&B offerings.
