Responding to demand for tea-infused alcohol, vintage-inspired drinking and afternoon tea, Dukes London has launched G & Tea, a new afternoon tea experience combining afternoon tea and the gin and tonic.
The offering centers around a new Beefeater gin infused with dried black tea leaves. It is poured from vintage decanters over ice, lime and lemon along with black vanilla or earl grey tea into a traditional china teacup. During winter, it can be served as a hot punch.
Guests also are offered a homemade sweetened tonic syrup to top off their drink in addition to a variety of afternoon tea treats.
