DoubleTree to expand in Florida: Sotherly Hotels entered into a 10-year franchise agreement with Hilton Worldwide to rebrand its 292-room Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Riverfront as the DoubleTree by Hilton Jacksonville Riverfront. The conversion will take place in 2015. The hotel is currently undergoing a US$5 million renovation.
Holiday Inn to expand in Colorado: IHG signed a franchise agreement with Pagosa Lodging to open the 101-room Holiday Inn Pagosa Springs in summer 2015.
Charter One adds hotel in Florida: Charter One Hotels & Resorts has been selected to manage the 147-room Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites – Tampa Stadium Airport.
