Madrid-based NH Hotel Group has selected Preferred Hotel Group as its exclusive partner for the launch of NH Collection, its premium hotel brand that is playing a significant role in NH’s overall repositioning strategy.
Under the agreement, Preferred will provide sales, marketing and distribution support to 20 NH Collection properties; 14 hotels and resorts across Spain, Italy, Mexico and Argentina are under immediate representation of Preferred. Six additional hotels located in Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands will join in early 2015.
Three luxury hotels that had pre-existing relationships with Preferred — Hesperia Madrid (Spain), Donnafugata Golf Resort & Spa (Sicily, Italy) and Grand Hotel Convento di Amalfi (Italy) — have been brought into the NH Collection portfolio and are included in the global agreement.
