Expedia to list HomeAway vacation rental properties: HomeAway and Expedia announced the distribution of more than 115,000 vacation rental listings on the U.S. version of Expedia.com.

Westin to expand in Florida: Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide announced it has broken ground on its first Westin hotel in Sarasota, Florida. Developed by Kolter Hospitality, the 255-room Westin Sarasota will open in the summer of 2016.

Worldmark by Wyndham acquires Texas resort: WorldMark by Wyndham, one of Wyndham Vacation Ownership’s four primary consumer brands, announced it has acquired Stablewood Springs Resort in Hunt, Texas. It is anticipated that 31 units will be available to WorldMark owners in early 2015, and new construction will begin soon to create additional units by 2016. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
