Mangalis Hotel Group outlined details of its economy brand Yaas Hotels, which joins Noom Hotels and Seen Hotels in the upscale and midscale segments, respectively.
Yaas will employ the modular-construction Mangalis Plug & Play Solution, which the company said will enable a Yaas hotel to be designed, built and operating in less than a year.
“We have created Yaas Hotels to deliver for the economy segment an unprecedented smart and optimistic design combined with the latest technology for today’s travelers,” said Mangalis CEO Oliver Jacquin.
Mangalis currently has a group pipeline of 16 hotels in 13 African countries. The first flagship Noom Hotel Conakry in Guinea is set to open in the first quarter of 2015 followed in the second quarter by a Yaas Hotel in Dakar – Almadies. Additional hotels in Pointe Noire, Cotonou and Abidjan are expected to be open in the second half of 2015, under the Noom and Seen brands.
