Lodging Host to manage Adoba Hotel Dearborn: Lodging Host Hotel Corp. will take over management of Adoba Hotel Dearborn in Michigan from Atmosphere Hospitality Management Services LLC. The 772-room hotel’s 235 employees will be retained, according to Lodging Host’s CEO Kevin Hilchey.

Carey Watermark Investors acquires Staybridge Suites Savannah: Carey Watermark Investors acquired Staybridge Suites Savannah in Georgia. The 104-room select-service hotel was sold for US$23 million.

DAS Architects to develop luxury hotel in Philadelphia: DAS Architects Inc. will develop a new independent luxury hotel in Philadelphia’s Center City. The US$125 million hotel is scheduled to open in 2016 and will feature 300 guestrooms, two stories of retail shops, a restaurant and bar, and event and meeting facilities.
