HHonors update: Online travel community FlyerTalk is reporting a security breach has left Hilton HHonors rewards members susceptible to stolen points and fraudulent credit-card charges. HOTELS has learned that the breach is not considered a “hack” of the HHonors system, rather perpetrators are using user information and passwords found on other websites and finding their way into less than 1% of HHonors accounts. Hilton is replenishing all points lost from vicitimized accounts and reminding these HHonors members to change their passwords.
