What’s Hot: NYC hotel unveils new rooftop space

Blue-sky thinking takes on a literal meaning when it comes to rooftop spaces in hotels. They have become a creative outlet for some of the most inventive styling on the property. Cloud Social, which tops off NYMA, The New York Manhattan Hotel, is no exception and proves that it doesn’t take 5-star budgets to make an innovative venue.

Bright orange tones perk up the chairs in the space, giving it a playful vibe. Greenery that looks like picture frames provides a modern accent. The combination of bright tones and minimal embellishment lets the curvy outlines of the chairs become the focal point.

“Rooftop bars are a quintessentially New York attraction, and we’re thrilled to add Cloud Social to our portfolio,” said Vijay Dandapani, president, Apple Core Hotels. “They fill the void in Manhattan for reasonably priced rooftop venues with a relaxed atmosphere and high-quality service.”
