The Portland Harbor Hotel in Portland, Maine, has appointed Aaron Black general manager. Black also serves as general manager of Inn at Diamond Cove and Diamond’s Edge Restaurant & Marina. Most recently, Black was general manager of Topnotch Resort and Spa in Stowe, Vermont.

Vantage Hospitality Group, Coral Springs, Florida, has named Greg Burgett regional vice president of development for the Midwest region. Burgett most recently was regional director of development for Best Western International.

Hospitality Ventures Management Group, Atlanta, has named Cory Chambers vice president and chief revenue officer. Previously, Chambers was vice president of revenue generation, full-service division, for White Lodging.

Grand Hyatt New York has promoted Jim Dale to director of food and beverage. Dale most recently was the property’s senior director of catering.

The Sebastian – Vail – A Timbers Resort in Vail, Colorado, has promoted Robert Friedl to general manager. Friedl most recently was the property’s assistant general manager.

Paul Heery has been appointed general manager of The Gleneagles Hotel in Scotland. Most recently Heery was hotel operations manager at the Connaught Hotel, London.

Kevin Hughes has been promoted to general manager of Coconut Bay Beach Resort & Spa in Vieux Fort, Saint Lucia. Hughes most recently was the property’s director of food and beverage.

Shane Krige has been appointed general manager of Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown. Previously, Krige was general manager of The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, India.

David Lemmond has been appointed general manager of The Highland Dallas. Lemmond formerly was general manager of Hotel Vitale in San Francisco.

Marco Metge has been promoted to general manager of Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok. Metge previously was the property’s resident manager.

Dawna Naylor has been named director of sales at The Westin New York at Times Square. Naylor was most recently director of group sales for the Westin Waltham Hotel in Massachusetts.

Rosewood Little Dix Bay in Virgin Gorda, British Virgin Islands, has appointed Fabio Petrone food and beverage manager. Most recently, Petrone was director of food and beverage at the CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa in Anguilla.

Nikolay Stoyanov has been appointed general manager of Mercure Pattaya Ocean Resort in Thailand. Stoyanov formerly was general manager of Ibis Hua Hin.

Destination Hotels, Englewood, Colorado, has appointed Lou Trope senior vice president, food and beverage experiences. Previously, Trope was vice president, restaurant, bar and event operations, global discipline leader, global operations, for Marriott International.
