Marriott inks Saudi deal: Dur Hospitality and Marriott International will operate two properties in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The properties are scheduled to open in 2017.

Accor signs in Paris: Aeroports de Paris and Accor signed building leases for three hotels at Paris-Orly Airport. The leases cover the extension of an existing Ibis hotel to be completed in 2016 and the construction of another Ibis hotel to open in 2016 and a Novotel to open 2017.

Noble buys in Tampa: The Noble Investment Group acquired the Residence Inn Tampa Westshore for US$21.4 million and TownePlace Suites for US$14.3 million.

Malmaison buys university property: The Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen sold its Clarke Building and Aberdeen Art Gallery to the Malmaison Hotel du Vin Group. The multi-million pound deal will result in a 200-guestroom luxury hotel development.

New master’s program: Ecole hôtelière de Lausanne, the Conrad N. Hilton College at the University of Houston and the School of Hotel and Tourism Management at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University will offer a joint master’s program in global hospitality business. The program will start in September 2015.

Dubai Parks and Resorts oversubscribed: Meraas Holding’s Dubai Parks and Resorts’ 2.5 billion dirham (US$689 million) initial public offer was 65 times oversubscribed at close. Dubai Parks and Resorts will list its shared on the Dubai Financial Market on December 10.
