IHG has partnered with Norland College to train staff at InterContinental Hotels & Resorts on babysitting services. The two-year agreement is the first collaboration between a global hotel brand and a childcare provider.
The collaboration comes on the tails of the InterContinental brand’s Planet Trekkers children’s menu program designed for travelers between the ages of 4 and 12 years old.
“For our InterContinental brand, we know that families who stay with us look for our help in keeping their children happily entertained with fun opportunities to learn about the world,” said Simon Scoot, vice president of global brans for InterContinental.
“Norland is committed to providing premium training and consultancy with the ultimate aim of positively impacting children’s lives,” said Liz Hunt, principal of Norland College.
