Hyatt Regency Indianapolis acquired: Davidson Hotels & Resorts and Silverpeak Real Estate Partners have announced that its joint venture has acquired the 499-room Hyatt Regency Indianapolis from Hyatt Hotels Corporation. Davidson will also operate the hotel.
Global hotel outlook: JLL projects that global hotel transaction volumes will reach an eight-year high between US$65 to US$68 billion in 2015, representing a 15% increase over 2014 volumes. Transaction volumes in the Americas region will lead in 2015 and could reach US$34.5 billion. Activity in Europe, the Middle East and Africa is expected to reach US$24.7 billion and volume in Asia Pacific is projected to reach US$8.5 billion.
