The Caterer reports that Starwood Capital Group is selling 19 of its UK hotels for £180 million (US$276.46 million).
Christie + Co was appointed to market the portfolio that is comprised of 11 hotels within De Vere Venues, seven Principal Hayley hotels and the Oxford Witney, a Four Pillars hotel.
Starwood Capital acquired the 23-property Principal Hayley group for £356 million (US$546.78 million) in 2013. In 2014, the group acquired De Vere Venues for £231 million (US$354.79 million) and Four Pillars Hotels for approximately £90 million (US$138.23 million).
