When Studio Gaia’s Ilan Waisbrod got the brief for the 168-key W Bogota, he had metal on his mind. The legend of the Golden King provided the jumping-off point for a look that blends golden tones with high-octane statement pieces.
A geometric black wall and purple chairs in the entrance make that statement clear as soon as guests walk in. Gold wall accents in the Market Kitchen and a gold-dust-like effect in the pool finish off the story, as do golden pillows in the guestrooms.
The hotel also offers three dining and entertainment venues: the W Lounge, Au Bar and Market Kitchen.
