Effortless chic might be one of the hardest looks to pull off. Straddling the line between trying too hard and design that’s simply dull takes a careful hand. For the new Casa Del Mar suite at El San Juan Resort & Casino, a Hilton Hotel, the Jane Dillon Design Group was tasked with doing just that for the two-level space.
Their design solution centers on layering subtle points of interest. Geometric motifs add detail to an area rug. A complementary design accents pillows on the sofa. For the outdoor spaces, a simple, streamlined aesthetic takes center stage, with a predominantly white palette.
The one bedroom suite offers a first floor terrace. The second floor is finished off with a sun deck. The lighter color scheme in these spaces shows off the airy resort vibe. A more minimalist style suits the setting, while neutral accents maintain continuity from the interiors.
