Viceroy joins Global Hotel Alliance: Global Hotel Alliance has announced Viceroy as its latest member brand. Several Viceroy properties will also become part of the new Ultratravel Collection.

 


New Moxy coming to Stuttgart: Marriott International will open a new Moxy hotel in Stuttgart, Germany, in 2017. The 176-room hotel will be operated by the Swiss SV Group.

 


Starwood strengthens Latin America portfolio: Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide signed an agreement with GH Pegasus to open Aloft Tijuana, Aloft Coatzacoalcos and Aloft Poza Rica by the end of 2017, and an agreement with Hoteles Real Chihuahua to unveil the Sheraton Chihuahua Soberano Hotel, a strategic conversion, by November 2015.

Starwood seeks buyer in Fiji: Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide has kicked off a marketing campaign to generate buyer interest in three of its assets in Fiji: Sheraton Fiji Resort, The Westin Denarau Island Resort & Spa and Denarau Golf & Racquet Club. Starwood has appointed CBRE Hotels as the exclusive selling agent for the properties.
