Rumors continue to swirl this week around the potential sale of the Malmaison and Hotel du Vin brands by KSL Capital Partners.
The UK’s Sky News reported on Wednesday that Guy Hands’ Terra Firma has placed a £350 million bid (US$522 million). This follows last week’s news reported by the Times of London that TDR Capital is among the frontrunners to prevail in the auction run by UBS.
The Times also reported that potential suitor Great Eagle Group, Hong Kong, has withdrawn from the process.
