Renovations have to impress just as much as new-build projects. Just upgrading furniture or finishes won’t cut it for today’s guests. Any redux has to pack a punch. That doesn’t have to be a flashy statement or one that’s over the top, but the design has to be memorable.
Just ask the team behind the renovation of the 323 studio suites at the Omni Hilton Head Oceanfront Resort in South Carolina. The renovation, which marks the final stage in a US$17 million overhaul of the property, focused on using a bright, beachy palette to set the mood. Blues and greens echo the water. Coral accents and patterned detailing layer in visual interest.
