Morgans Hotel Group Co. announced a partnership with IFA Hotels & Resorts to bring the Delano brand to the Middle East with the 110-key Delano Dubai. Scheduled to open in 2017, the property will be situated on Palm Jumeirah and will form part of the mixed-used resort development known as The8.
Delano Dubai will include one-, two- and three-bedroom fully furnished units as well as a Presidential Suite. It will be the third hotel in the Delano portfolio, joining properties in Miami and Las Vegas.
Currently under construction, The8 will contain resort-style facilities including water sports, a gym, tennis courts, a signature beachfront restaurant, beach cabanas, barbecue and event areas as well as dedicated amenities for young families. IFA will oversee the asset management and operational aspect of the development.
