Minor grows in Africa: Minor Hotel Group announced a partnership with Qatari Diar Real Estate Investment Company to develop two new Anantara resorts in North Arica. The Anantara Tozeur Resort and the Anantara Al Houara Tangier Resort will open in 2017.

Red Lion adds two hotels: Red Lion Hotels Corp. signed franchise license agreements on hotels located in Sacramento, California, and Spokane, Washington. Both properties are expected to convert to Red Lion hotels by June.
Standard Hotels unveils new reservations app: Standard Hotels launched One Night Standard, a same-day bookings app for its five properties in New York City, Miami Beach and Los Angeles starting at 3 p.m. through 5 a.m. the next morning. The app is now available at iTunes and in the Google Play store.
