Best Western International has signed its first two Vib hotels in Miami and Chicago, as well as its first international Vib hotel in Seoul, South Korea.
Rebuild Miami-Edgewater is developing Vib on 7.3 acres (3 hectares) in Miami’s arts and entertainment district. The 10-story Miami property will include 200 guestrooms and is expected to break ground in November.
In Chicago, Vib is being developed near Midway International Airport by Balkrishna Patel and his sons Parth and Amit. The three-story property will include 74 guestrooms.
The development team is also considering opportunities in cities including New York, Los Angeles and Toronto, among others.
