Shangri-La’s Sanya Resort & Spa, Hainan recently launched a Drone Experience room package, which the property said is the first of its kind in China.
The resort has partnered with drone manufacturer DJI to facilitate the offering. Guests who book the package will be entitled to a 60-minute hands-on flight experience with the DJI Phantom 2 Vision+ with an experienced instructor.
During the flight, guests can capture 14-megapixel images and record a 1080p video. The footage will be directly recorded to the guest’s mobile device, making it easy to share on social media.
