AccorHotels makes key appointments: AccorHotels appointed Christophe Alaux CEO of HotelServices North and Central America, Patrick Mendes CEO of HotelServices South America, Sophie Stabile CEO of HotelServices France and Jean-Jacques Morin chief financial officer. Roland De Bonadona also is stepping down after 42 years with AccorHotels.

IHG expands in Hong Kong: IHG and M.I.K. Corp. signed a management agreement for a 300-room Crowne Plaza hotel on the island of Phu Quoc in Vietnam. Crowne Plaza Phu Quoc Starbay is slated to open in 2017 and will be the third Crowne Plaza in Vietnam.
